The Role
As our Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in enabling new marketing channels to accelerate audience and channel testing. This is a hands-on opportunity to experiment and implement both paid and non-paid strategies, driving user acquisition and growth while learning new approaches along the way. The role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, and you'll have the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment and help establish our Bay Area HQ.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing strategies across paid (SEM, Social, YouTube) and non-paid (Affiliates, SEO, Lifecycle) channels to accelerate audience and channel testing.
- Manage the end-to-end implementation of performance and non-performance marketing channels while supporting growth in non-performance channels.
- Learn and implement strategies in new marketing channels, applying a “doer” mentality.
- Analyze KPIs, segment users, and optimize conversion funnels for growth.
- Collaborate across teams (PR, product, engineering) to align marketing with overall business objectives.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 5-7 years in consumer startups, ideally in pre-product-market-fit phases (Seed/Series A). Senior Marketing Manager or Director-level experience with the ability to act as an individual contributor.
- Cross-Channel Expertise: Experience managing paid (SEM, Social, YouTube) and non-paid channels, with a willingness to learn and implement in new areas.
- Analytical Skills: Strong focus on defining, analyzing, and optimizing KPIs and funnels.
- Startup Mindset: Comfortable in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Location: Must be based in the Bay Area.
